Paragraph 1

first paragraph

Did you know that if you told only three lies each day it
would total 21,900 lies in twenty years? We pray that you do not lie to yourself about the afterlife. In Buddhism there is a belief about a place where one cannot escape via reincarnation. It is known as Avici Diyu (commonly known as the 18th realm of hell) and is a fiery punishment that lasts forever. We mention Avici Diyu because in many religious perspectives the truth about hell has been revealed to people of all walks of life so that all of humanity is without excuse before God (Romans 1:20; 2:14-15).

commentary

21,900 Lies

How often do courts of law have parents defending their child, saying that their child is a good person at heart? Or a TV interview of a person who perpetrated the crime claiming that he or she is not really evil, but is simply the victim of a string of a difficult life?
The tfragedy is that a crime has committed and good intentions that come from criminals do not make people “good” in the sight of the law. Will you be self-deluded about your own goodness when you die and go to meet God, or will you be honest with yourself and face up to your sins?
A spiritual legal system in our hearts and minds known as a conscience witnesses to us about our lawbreaking before God. This word “conscience” is Greek meaning “with knowledge” so despite the lack of a group of laws never having been written down, God warns us of our lawbreaking making us guilty before him as a judge of our crimes.

Lie to Yourself

Have you ever done something wrong, and then went on to live as though you had made the right decision? Your conscience witnesses to you about your sin meaning you need a savior. Jesus proved that he paid our sins by his comong back from the dead.

Avici Diyu

Our warning about hell could not be more well placed. In reference to belief in Avici Diyu, a buddhist belief in everlasting torment after death, we note that the following applied to the people people concluded that such a horrible place must exist:

  1. China was in no way Jewish or Christan. There is little to no evidence to suggest that Jews, Christians or Muslims influenced their worldview.
  2. They did not believe in “western logic.”
  3. They believed that people were in general “good people.” Yet law and judgement awaited them. Often in China and other places in Asia, people pray for their ancestors or relatives to be let out of hell by the Buddha.
  4. They beleived that in general everyone should have “another chance” after death (see our page titled insanity).
  5. They could not quench their need for expressing an eternal punishment, despite their beliefs in
    reincarnation.

Please read the following passage for insight into the human conscience:

Romans 1:20-21: For his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that were made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so they are without excuse, because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. (NJKV)

Romans 2:14 – For when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law.

15 They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, while
their conscience also bears witness, and their conflicting thoughts accuse or even excuse them… (ESV)

People in all walks of life are shown here in scripture have a choice. They can follow their consciences (greek, meaning “with knowledge”) or they can choose to ignore it. If they follow their consciences they can pursue the knowledge about God that would allow them to be saved, or they can also do nothing in regards to their conscience and sin. We all know that morality exists. No one can take things and not show the autonomic responses for having done wrong things.

The archeological and historical depth of the Bible and the
supernatural existence of Israel show Christianity to be the most logical choice for one’s sin. The first and greatest commandment is to love God. If this is followed to its conclusion with a non-bias towards the facts that surround Christianity than one is more likely to conclude in Christianity (See more for this informaion on Third Paragraph Commentary). Jesus is the only way and we have said so under the grounds of fallacy for all other religions as we have described (see most reliable way).

For people to say that there could be a limit to God’s judgement sin is as foolish as saying God cannot create an infinite universe. He is all-powerful, all knowing, perfect and holy (without sin). Who would be able to argue with God after they died that they were a good peron and than be able to come back from their death to life? Jesus’ act  not only paid  for our sins and fulfill God’s promises in the Old Testament; it showed the world that he was also God.

He never sinned when we did and thereby he saves us from our sin as he has paid the debt for the sin we are gulity of before God.
